Climate Crisis

My series of paintings “Climate Crisis” are a testimony to the decisive and vitally important effects of climate change to our fragile planet Earth.  Events and consequences that previously happened in geological time, are now happening during the span of a human lifetime.

The tapestries are woven impressions based on the microcosmic patterns of various species of live butterflies, many now endangered by habitat loss due to deforestation, urbanization, insecticides and climate change.
